An unused swimming pool is one of the most expensive things a homeowner can own. Chemicals, power, insurance and repairs run year after year on something nobody swims in — and when it comes time to sell, a tired pool often reads as a problem rather than a feature.

The pool comes out, the debris is hauled away, the void is backfilled and compacted in lifts, and the surface is graded to drain properly and seeded or sodded so you get usable yard back — not a sunken scar that settles for the next five years.

Site visit and quote
We walk the pool, check access for the machine, look at where spoil and fill can stage, and give you a fixed price. No charge, no obligation.

Utilities and permits
Gas, power and water to the pool are disconnected and capped. We call Georgia 811 before any digging, and a demolition permit is pulled where your county requires one.

Demolition
The deck and coping come off. The shell is broken up and the walls collapsed inward. Steel and plumbing are separated for disposal.

Drainage holes
The floor is punched through in multiple places so groundwater can never sit in the void. This is the step cheap operators skip, and it is why badly removed pools turn into swamps.

Backfill in compacted lifts
Clean fill goes in in layers, each one compacted before the next. Dumping fill in one go is what causes the sinking you see in yards years later.

Grade, seed and clean up
The surface is graded to shed water away from the house, then seeded and strawed or sodded. Every piece of debris leaves with us.
What affects your price
Size, shape, decking, attached spas and waterfalls, and how easily a machine can reach the back yard all move the number. Partial removal costs less than full removal — we will explain the difference and what each means for future building on that spot.
